$35 Million in Undisclosed Earmarks in Senate State and Foreign Operations Bill

The 2009 State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Bill contains 7 earmarks worth $35.4 million dollars (click here to view the database).

It appears that the Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) has obtained an earmark for $1,000,000 for the Lake Champlain Basin Program. But we are not certain because Senate appropriators don’t disclose any projects in the appropriations bill as earmarks.
