Coastal Banking Company, Inc. is a bank holding company that operates through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Lowcountry National Bank and First National Bank of Nassau County, Florida (the Banks). The company was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Beaufort, South Carolina, and also has operations in Georgia and Florida. In early December 2008 Coastal Banking announced it was receiving $9.95 million under the Treasury Department’s Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).
