Hundreds of millions of dollars overbudget, four years overdue and the Capitol Visitor Center is still not finished. Although Congressional leaders celebrated the $651 million Center’s opening a few weeks ago, The Hill newspaper reports that it was more like tidying the public area of your house for company while the bedroom is a left a shambles. Neither the new House or Senate office space in the new center is finished, with open walls and hanging wires all over the place.
