The House Appropriations Committee has released the Summary of the proposed FY2010 Supplemental Appropriations Act.  This more than $80 billion bill would provide funds for a range of government services, from the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan, to emergency support for local school districts, to the Gulf oil spill response.

The bill also includes $18 billion in energy loan guarantees for projects that include high-risk nuclear reactors. Read TCS’s letter to the hill urging opposition to this unjustified addition the emergency spending bill.
