We commend Congressmen Jim McDermott (D-WA), Tom Petri (R-WI), and the current cosponsors of H.R. 3503, the Salmon Solutions and Planning Act, for supporting legislation that will help save billions of taxpayer dollars.

Over the last two decades, the federal government has spent more than $8 billion on efforts that have failed to restore salmon to the Columbia and Snake Rivers. H.R. 3503 calls for several important studies to ensure that the best available science and economics are used to recover salmon in the basin.

If your Representative is a current cosponsor, thank them for supporting legislation that will prevent billions of wasted taxpayer dollars.

If your Representative is not a current cosponsor, take action and encourage them to support H.R. 3503.
