Watch All In with Chris Hayes for the latest on the battle in Washington over food stamps and the Farm Bill, as the House passed a new version Thursday afternoon devoid of any funding for nutrition assistance. The partisan nature of the fight was on full display as not a single Democrat voted in favor of the bill. House members will now need to meld this bill with a Senate version passed last month. Democratic Representative Donna Edwards of Maryland and Steve Ellis, vice president of Taxpayers for Common Sense, will join the table to discuss the legislation and what to expect from the debate ahead.

Also Thursday, the Zimmerman trial edged closer to jury deliberation as prosecutors presented part one of their closing argument. Lawyer and Legal Analyst Lisa Green and Maya Wiley, Founder/President of the Center for Social Inclusion will join Chris Hayes to talk about the day’s developments.

Plus: Justin Carter is an 18-year-old who has been charged with making “terroristic threats” for posting what his family and lawyer say was a joke on Facebook. After police were notified of Carter’s comments, the teenager was jailed in his home state of Texas, where he remained for nearly four months. Behind bars, Carter was placed in solitary confinement after being repeatedly assaulted and became so depressed he was put on suicide watch. All In with Chris Hayes just received word Thursday afternoon that Carter was finally released on bail, posted by an anonymous donor. Justin Carter’s father, Jack Carter, and his attorney, Don Flanary, will join Chris Hayes to discuss his incarceration, the charges he faces and the justice system that made his ordeal possible.

Later, Chris Hayes will delve into a Department of Justice report released this week finding the Miami Police have engaged in a pattern of excessive use of force. Radley Balko, author of Rise of the Warrior Cop, will join the table to discuss the increasing militarization of local police, largely thanks to federal money being poured into local police departments.
