UPDATE: TCS 25th Anniversary

We have been working toward our 25th Anniversary Event for months and are excited to see our friends and supporters this evening!

But we never want to put anyone at risk. And as the Coronavirus dominates the headlines, we are faced with the difficult decision of whether to cancel this event.

We’ve decided to take a middle ground. Please, if you are even a little bit uncomfortable with the idea of being in a crowd, stay home. If you are sick, please stay home. If you went to Christ Church in Georgetown, CPAC, or some other event with a known carrier, please stay home. If you are simply tired of events, please stay home. While we very much hope you will turn your ticket purchase into a donation, we will gladly refund your money if you prefer.

For those of you who are interested, we will be holding what we know will be a smaller event and taking precautions per CDC guidance. No handshakes or hugs. Food will be passed hors d’oeuvres (no tables). We will have plenty of hand sanitizer! And know that no matter what, we appreciate your support of Taxpayers for Common Sense.
