Fred Upton (R-MI) and Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) to hold a hearing on the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). The groups argued that as Chairman and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Energy & Commerce, which has jurisdiction over the RFS, the Congressmen should immediately call a hearing to examine the broken program. Doing so would simply mirror a host of legislative actions made by Members of the House to address the program that mandates certain levels of ethanol and advanced biofuels be blended into gasoline.
