In every Presidential budget request there are winners and losers. But the FY20 request may be most remembered for just exactly how many losers there were. And while at TCS we are all for efficiency in government, we also believe that the government must be able to function. Focusing on a few “star” players like the nuclear weapons portion of the Department of Energy, the Pentagon, and Homeland Security is not the way to ensure a fully functional government.
