Eagle Bancorp, Inc. (Eagle Bancorp) is a bank holding company that provides general commercial and consumer banking services through its wholly owned banking subsidiary, EagleBank (the Bank). In December the company announced that it would participate in the Treasury Department’s Capital Purchase Program. Under the program the company received $38,235,000 in exchange for preferred stock. Eagle Bank is the title sponsor of the college football Eagle Bank Bowl, hosted at Washington DC’s RFK stadium.
