The table below lists the tax extenders passed by the House Ways and Means Committee and Senate Finance Committee so far. None of these provisions have been voted on yet by the full House or Senate.

The date represents the day the committee passed or marked up the provision. If it is blank, then the Committee has not passed the provision. The revenue effect measures the total cost or revenue raised by either an extension of the provision or the ten year revenue effect of the provision if it is made permanent. Estimates of temporary and permanent extensions (April 29, May 29) are made by the Joint Committee on Taxation. A version of the chart is also available in Excel.

The Ways and Means Committee voted to make the provisions permanent. The Senate Finance Committee voted to extend the provisions for two years, with the exception of the Extension of Empowerment Zone tax incentives and Multiemployer pension plan funding rules, which it extended for one year.
