Today the House passed a Continuing Resolution and a minibus that included the final FY09 Defense spending bill, which had 6 earmarks for coal-to-liquid and synthetic fuels projects, totaling $19 million. Senator Stevens (R-AK) hauled down the most earmarks overall and pair worth $10 million for Alaska’s Eilson Air Force Base Coal-to-Liquid Initiative.
