The Zero-Emission Nuclear Power Production Credit, or Section 45U, is a production tax credit that supplements income for existing nuclear power facilities earning below a specified threshold. Many of these facilities also qualify for the $6 billion Civil Nuclear Credit (CNC) Program created by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (P.L. 117-58).
