After a bit of speed reading, TCS staff came up with earmark totals for the CR/Def/DHS/MilCon bill that was released 13 hours ago. These numbers only include the disclosed member earmarks. So none of the projects where lawmakers increased funding levels over the President's requests have been included. Keep in mind, none of the more than 2,000 earmarks in the Defense bill have seen the light of day before now. Highlights to follow.

Member Totals -- Disclosed Earmarks

Milcon

$1,322,609,000

177

DHS

$231,127,728

116

Disaster Aid

$182,000,000

3

Defense

$4,866,381,000

2025

$6,602,117,728

Quick update occured at 5:00pm, with a small increase in defense (and therefor overall) total, and a decrease of one to the number of DHS earmarks.
