So, Sen. Gregg's line item veto (enhanced recission) amendment is back up on the floor of the Senate. It wasn't "germane" to the ethics/earmark bill - so it's being offered to the minimum wage bill, got to love that legislative logic.  Sen. Reid has just filed for cloture on the amendment which will ripen for a cloture vote on Wednesday (or earlier if they can come to an agreement to vote). As you know, cloture requires 60 votes.
