TCS has plowed through the more than 1,400 earmarks worth nearly $2.2 billion in the aptly named THUD spending bill. Congress contributed $724 million worth of the projects in the bill and nearly every state of the union benefits … except Alaska.
The usual suspects are the major highway bandits, with the subcommittee chair Rep. Olver pulling in 16 earmarks worth $16.24.
