Taxpayers for Common Sense (TCS) submitted public comments to the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining in strong support of a proposed rule to strengthen financial assurance requirements for oil and gas operators in Utah. Strengthening Utah’s rules now will reduce dependence on state and federal remediation programs, align with emerging federal and state standards, and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
