TCS submitted comments to the US Forest Service in response to its draft rulemaking, “Special Areas, Roadless Area Conservation: National Forest System Lands in Alaska” (RIN: 0596-AD37), published on October 17, 2019. If enacted, the rule would increase money-losing timber sales in Alaska’s Tongass National Forest.
