It’s been a busy summer!

So far, we’ve been instrumental in exposing corporate subsidies in the farm bill. We gained ground in our fight to reduce funding for the outdated B61 nuclear bomb life extension program. And, thanks to TCS, Congress is finally talking about making cuts to fossil fuel subsidies – with more debate to come this fall as we focus on tax reform.

In the news, we’re highlighting the taxpayer perspective on everything from flood insurance to the Essential Air Service, from the Knik Arm Bridge in Alaska to Defense appropriations. In every case, we’re calling for government to spend tax dollars effectively and transparently -- and operate within its means.

Thank you!
